UK Price Guide
What a genuine bag should cost, so you know what you are giving.

Gifting
Most luxury coffee gifts are ordinary coffee in a heavier box. This is the rarest coffee in the world, gathered by hand from the forest floor in Sumatra — which makes for a better story than the packaging ever could.
Choosing
For someone new to it — The Discovery, £24.99. Fifty grams, three or four cups. Enough to have the experience and talk about it, without the recipient feeling they have to ration it.
For a serious coffee drinker — The Vintner, £19.99. A limited-edition, experimental coffee: a 25-day anaerobic-fermented Arabica from the same highlands. Bright, fruited and quietly surprising for anyone who believes they have tasted everything.
For two kinds of curiosity — The Pair, £39.99. The Discovery and The Vintner together, £4.99 less than buying them separately: wild Kopi Luwak beside an experimental Arabica from the same highlands, for an evening of tasting one against the other.
For the full gesture — The Connoisseur, £44.99. A hundred and twenty-five grams. Back in stock, while the harvest lasts.
Practicalities
Why It Lands Well
A gift is easier to give when there is something to say about it. This coffee is chosen by wild civets in the forests of Aceh, fermented naturally, left on the forest floor, and collected by hand by the families who farm there. It cannot be manufactured, and there is only ever as much of it as the forest provides.
It is also, unusually for a luxury gift, honest about its limits: there is no certification scheme for wild Kopi Luwak anywhere in the world, and we say so rather than inventing a badge.
