Your First Cup of Wild Kopi Luwak
The Discovery is designed for the curious — those who have heard of Kopi Luwak, want to experience it for themselves, and want to do so from a source they can trust. At 50 grams, it yields around three to four beautifully brewed cups, enough to understand what makes this coffee unlike any other.
The coffee is identical in provenance and quality to our 125g Connoisseur. The same Gayo Highlands, the same wild, free-roaming Asian palm civets, the same hand-sorting and small-batch roasting by the farmers at the source. Only the quantity differs.
Wild Kopi Luwak is distinguished by what the civet's digestion does to the bean. Naturally occurring enzymes ferment the green beans during transit, reducing bitterness and acidity while building a velvety, layered complexity. The result is a coffee with a remarkably smooth body and depth that reveals itself gradually — particularly as it cools.
