Gayo Wild is a London brand selling 100% wild Kopi Luwak from the Gayo Highlands of Aceh, Sumatra. Most Kopi Luwak sold today comes from caged civets. Ours is foraged: free-roaming civets choose the ripest coffee cherries, and the farming families we buy from directly gather the beans by hand from the forest floor. No animal is caged, fed or handled.

The beans are washed, sun-dried, sorted by hand, given a medium roast in small batches and sealed at the farms. They reach customers as whole beans. In the cup: a velvety body, very low acidity, dark cocoa, caramel and soft spice.

There is no certification scheme for wild Kopi Luwak anywhere in the world. Instead of a badge, we set out what we can evidence on our Traceability page, and we invite people to see the forest for themselves on the Origin Journey.
