How to get the best from it
Grind just before you brew, medium-coarse for a cafetière and medium-fine for a pour-over. Use 15g of coffee to 225g of water (1:15), and water at 92–94°C rather than boiling — this coffee is low in acidity and boiling water flattens it.
Drink the first cup black. Kopi Luwak is smooth enough not to need milk, and milk will bury the cocoa and caramel you paid for.

About This Coffee
What is in The Pair?
Two sealed 50g pouches of whole roasted beans: The Discovery (wild Kopi Luwak: dark cocoa, caramel, soft spice) and The Vintner (25-day fermented Gayo Arabica: red berry, stone fruit, cocoa finish). Three to four cups each.
Is all of it Kopi Luwak?
No, and we say so plainly: The Discovery is wild Kopi Luwak; The Vintner is not. Its character comes from fermentation alone, with no civet involved at any stage.
Is it cheaper than buying both?
Yes. The Pair is £39.99; bought separately the two cost £44.98, so you save £4.99.
Is it Halal and Kosher?
Yes. Both coffees are certified Halal and Kosher.
